Logistics Account Manager - Bilingual Mandarin in Walnut, CA
Mega Logistic [please apply online] is seeking a driven sales individuals with a growth mindset that want to work for one of the fastest growing global logistics providers in the 3PL industry. We offer a full range of services, including warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, procurement, and quality assurance.
Overview
Searches, manages and expands business relationships with new clients; Develops and implements strategy, sales plan, and forecasts for overall business development, sales, and account management.
Responsibilities
- Identify, initiate, and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
- Negotiate rates, build and strengthen customer base.
- Coordinate with operations department to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Contact new customers and draw on your unique skills, abilities and competencies to secure sale.
- Closely interacts with customer service and compliance team.
- Analyzes existing and anticipated client needs and promote company services to meet such requirements.
- Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts.
- Promotes company endorsed programs and services.

- Achieve or exceed sales targets set by management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
- Attend trade shows and other industry events to generate leads and increase brand awareness
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding sales experience
Qualifications
- 3 years of combined experience in sales, 3PL, LTL, project management and/or logistics required
- Excellent communicator who is capable of motivating teams, collaborating with diverse groups across a large organization
- Ability to simplify difficult problems into solvable tasks that can be acted upon
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools
- Self-motivated, energetic, and driven with the ability to learn new skills that will enable you to grow with the role
- Ability to understand competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required
- Important focus on time management and organizational skills
- Strong client service skills required
- An ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment is vital
